| Our
Approach |
Itell's approach to IT services by outsourcing
software development offshore, but retaining project management
onsite .This onsite/offshore support model enables us
to give our clients the peace of mind that project management
is handled locally, as well as the cost savings of producing
the application offshore.
The following depicts the work partition between onsite
and offshore tasks:
|
| Project
Life Cycle |
| PHASE
1- Requirement Analysis |
| These are brainstorming
sessions that help determine the business objectives and
marketing goals. Prototype storyboards or screen layouts
are used for role-playing. |
| PHASE
2 - Architecture Design |
Our Technical Architects
suggests client on options available with respect to architectural
approaches and technology solutions for project implementation.
In the design phase we define specifically how the software
is to be written including an object model with properties
and methods for each object and a detailed database design.
|
| PHASE
3 - Confirmation |
| Based on the
architecture and technology chosen, our development team
of Programmers, graphic designers and project managers
draft a development plan for the project with cost and
time estimates. |
| PHASE 4
- Development |
| The development
phase involves the actual coding of the entire application.
This is usually the longest and most resource-intensive
phase. As components of the application are complete,
they are reviewed by the customer for accuracy as well
as usability, according to a milestone schedule that is
part of the main project schedule |
| PHASE
5 –Quality and testing |
| The test phase
and quality phase involves a formal walk through of the
entire test specification and modification to the application
where appropriate. This is done first by ITELL Testers,
and then verified by the customer giving quality work. |
| PHASE
6 -Installation and Training |
| Once the system
is installed on the production servers, comprehensive
training is extended to the client's IT/ MIS personnel;
not only to administer and maintain it, but also to understand
the underlying technology and development tools. The end-users
are trained to use the application effectively. Follow-up
action in terms of close monitoring of the system and
applications ensures immediate response to issues |
|
PHASE 7- Support Phase |
The support
phase of the project is the last component and it continues
as long as a warranty, extended warranty, or support contract
is in place.
Support contract will start after finishing web site work.
It could be of 1-year contract. |
