| It is a
web-based chat application which allows persons on different
computers over the internet to chat through internet
explorer. |

| General chatting
(Many to many chatting) |
Chat Application allows
user to chat with multiple user at the same time.
User can send messages to all the other users. The messages
sent by the user will be displayed on the screen in general
chat window of every user. |
| Private chatting
(one-to-one chatting) |
| List of all the other users
is displayed on the users screen. If user wants to chat
privately with one or more other users He can open private
chat widow to communicate. User can chat privately with
as many users as he wants but the private chatting window
will be unique for each user he chat with. Each private
chatting window will work entirely isolated and receive
and send messages simultaneously and independently. |
| Sending Emotions

| Both in General chat and
private chatting user can send small images indicating
emotions. User can send as many images as he wants with
every message. A separate image panel is opened where
user selects the emotions, which are automatically attached
to the messages he sends. |
| View profile |
| User can see profile of
any user in which he is interested through a web page.
This profile will include the nickname, actual name, address,
email, date of birth and a photograph. |
| Set profile |
| User can set his profile
from his own general chatting window through a web page.
Here he can change or set his name, address, email, date
of birth. He can also add or change his photograph that
will be displayed in his profile. |
| Ignore User |
| If user doesn’t want
to receive any message for one or more user he can block
message sent by him. He can receive message again from
one or more ignored user if he wants. |
| Set font properties |
| User can set the font size,
font color for every message that he sends. |
| Chatting with mobile |
| User is also allowed to
login to the chat server through his mobile phone. User
can send and receives messages and communicate with the
other members in the chat room through his mobile phone. |
